This cute billboard for Dolphin Tale shines brightly amidst L.A.'s cluttered skyline and at first it's hard to tell whether the film is an animated feature or a live-action movie.
It's actually the latter and is based on the true story of the inspiring dolphin 'Winter', who plays herself in the movie, who lost her tail and received a prosthetic replacement allowing her to swim and survive in her natural aquatic habitat.
These movie billboards were snapped along Melrose at La Brea Avenue and Fairfax Avenue at Santa Monica Boulevard on September 2, 2011.
